Anti-Addiction OS is designed as a local-first wellbeing tool. The app helps users create a short pause before impulsive behavior and does not require an account.

Data Stored on Device

The app stores urge history, settings, intensity level, notification preference, subscription status, and optional OpenAI API key locally on the user's device using iOS storage.

Data Collection

The current app does not collect personal data on a developer-operated external server.

AI

If the user enters an OpenAI API key in Settings, the app may send the selected urge type and intensity level to OpenAI to generate a replacement suggestion. If no API key is entered, the app uses built-in local prompts.

Notifications

If enabled, notifications are scheduled locally on device to remind users when a delay timer finishes.

Purchases

Subscription purchase and entitlement information is handled by Apple's StoreKit and App Store infrastructure.
